  • PG: PG is a colourless and odourless liquid with a subtly sweet taste obtained from petroleum. However, what makes it different is that its syrupy texture makes it runnier than VG. 

PG is commonly used in the food and beverage industry as a food additive that is found in soda, ice cream, salad dressing, and even commercial food colouring. It is also present in cosmetic products such as shampoo, lotion, mouthwash, toothpaste, and deodorant. 

When it comes to vaping, PG serves as a vehicle for carrying the flavouring in e-juice. The higher the PG is, the sharper the flavour it will be. Also, this ingredient is known for its stronger throat hit, as if you're inhaling tobacco smoke. However, it is easier to clean off because it is much thinner in consistency than VG.
